Animations for Reading Resources
As part of the revamp of their website and its curriculum, I made several animations for the Partnership in Education. I worked with the website's content creators to design animations that clearly illustrated the concepts.

The animation to the left shows the path that blood cells take throw the heart and lungs and then out to the body. The color change from blue to red indicates the oxygen exchange that happens when blood enters the lungs.

The second animation is of a cell preforming phagocytosis, the process of a single cell engulfing and digesting bacteria or other material.

The third animation shows how the heart muscle constricts as it pumps blood.

All the animations were hand drawn and inked, digitally painted in Adobe Photoshop, and edited in Adobe After Effects.
Sway Your Head Video
This is a project that I worked on with some other alumni from the Art Institute. It's the official music video for Sway Your Head from the band We Shot the Moon. This project had a very quick turn around. There was only two weeks from the initial project meeting to the final video release. I was responsible for the concept sketches, art style, asset creation and animation for the imagery inside of the theater box.
More Coming Soon!
I realized that I have several animation projects in various states of production and pre-production, so I decided to make it a new years resolution to complete at least a few of them this year. If all goes well, there will be a short test animation posted here soon!
